DXC Luxoft collaboration

Armstrong Wolfe announces collaboration with DXC Luxoft to bring technology thought leadership to its COO community.

The collaboration encompasses the Armstrong Wolfe’s quarterly COO forums across several regions. The first symposium took place on 27th April 2021 on The strategic value of outsourcing technology and non-differentiated operational activities. Stage 2 of the collaboration took place on 30th June 2021, which was an Industry Panel Session that dissected identified challenges to enable progress in outsourcing.

The strategic value of outsourcing technology and non-differentiated operational activities

Covid-19 has provided a short-term respite for financial services industry optimisation, but institutions in capital markets still face significant structural challenges. While capital market services are often a key part of those institutions’ services and value proposition to customers, their economic viability is arguable, and they weigh on cost-income ratios.

DXC Luxoft comments:

DXC Luxoft, managing director, banking & capital markets, Robert Easter comments:

“The COOs play a key role in driving the decisions to modernize and re-imagine the operating model. They are increasingly called upon to help choose the best-fit, most relevant technologies that enable their organization’s goals, business growth, profitability, and efficiency. As a global technology and solutions leader who delivers change, modernization, and run services for financial services institutions, we are looking forward to working with Armstrong Wolfe and sharing insights and experience with their community of COOs.”

Maurice Evlyn-Bufton, CEO, Armstrong Wolfe adds:

“I am delighted that DXC Luxoft will be working with us to bring thought leadership and solutions to iCOOC’s membership.  In sourcing a technology leader, we needed a company that could bridge and translate business requirements to technology and conversely technologists being able to communicate the art of the possible.  DXC Luxoft’s leadership team is an enriched combination of technologists and ex-bankers that meet this challenge perfectly.  We look forward to working with the DXC Luxoft team.”
