Lessons learnt on route to the target operating model
The aim of the operations’ iCOOC Working Group, bridging buy and sell side, was to use iCOOC’s platform to share thought and experiences within a Chatham House Rule environment. This was not in relation to the design of the target operating model (TOM), but lessons to be shared on route to the TOM.
Having spent the first 10 years of my career post army within Operations Executive Search, my executive network today is based upon the foundation years of my commercial career, and the tenure of many of the relationships established towards the end of the last century.
This has also allowed Armstrong Wolfe to shadow and run parallel to the demands and challenges found within Financial Services’ Operations throughout this extended period.
